S3 - Shared Shuttle Services | Johanneberg Science Park

The S3 Project (Shared Shuttle Services) tests how self-driving shuttles can improve urban transportation, by allowing increased densification of the city and reduce the need for on-site parking.

The goal is to jointly design and pilot new shared mobility solutions for strengthening mobility in Gothenburg and Västra Götaland Regionen. The collaborative project is led by RISE Research Institute and includes 16 partners, for example Chalmers, Västtrafik, Ericsson and the City of Gothenburg. The first test is conducted at Chalmers campus Johanneberg and will continue at Lindholmen during fall 2020 to spring 2021.
