Smart Sustainable District - Johanneberg District Challenge
Johanneberg Science Park is organizing ”Johanneberg District Challenge I” as part of Climate-KIC’s flagship programme Smart Sustainable Districts (SSD). During the ”Johanneberg District Challenge I”, a two day Co-creation Workshop will take place in order to identify the current challenges and outline the opportunities linked to Open Data and their use to develop a smart district with better living.
The workshop will bring together key experts on open data, smart mobility, participatory urban planning and climate adaptive urban planning from the City of Gothenburg, knowledge institutes and partner districts of the international Smart Sustainable District Project. The approach is multidisciplinary with a focus on integration of these different sustainability themes towards concrete measures that can support the Agenda 2030 and the City’s Climate Program Goals.
The district of Johanneberg is one of nine districts within the SSD Network that helps districts to identify opportunities, connect with some of Europe’s best technical and academic experts and leverage the experiences from other outstanding districts. District Challenge I is the first stage of SSD three-step program.
